Do I trust them?

I am looking to buy my boyfriend a watch for Christmas. I don't have the money until Friday but the website is saying they only have one in stock.
I've emailed them and have asked if it's likely they will be getting any more in and they have replied with this
"We would be getting new stock if this watch sold within 5 working days. You could place the order then request the watch to be sent on Friday. We only take payment on the day of dispatch and not at the time of the order."
Do I trust that? I don't have any money in my account but they have offered to sell me a £250 watch for £199.00 and I don't want to miss out. It's First Class Watches if anyone has had any dealings with them?

Not sure why you not having any money has anything to do with them being trustworthy.
After reading your post several times I think what you are trying to say is that they want your card details now, but have said they wouldn't actually charge your card until Friday if that is when you wanted it sent.
If you have an overdraft, then even if they authorised your card now, the likelihood is that it wouldn't go through until Friday - but I'm not sure whether that would cause you to be charged for using the overdraft.
Perhaps speaking to one of their team on the phone may be better if you want to be reassured.0 -

I would ring Johnsons The Cleaners and Carrick Travel
to ask whether they know/have seen the people who work at FirstClassWatches.co.uk.

But preferably, I would go into a local shop and buy my boyfriend a watch there.0 -

I was referring to be being able to trust their word regarding not taking payment until Friday.
I've ordered it in the hope that they wait until tomorrow. And nope, I don't have an overdraft.
I hope it works out for you.
What happens if they make the "charge" on the funds but dont take them, how does the bank view that?
Black Friday is coming up, you might find it's reduced even further elsewhere :rotfl:0 -
I don't see the problem here, they will most likely place authorisation the charge on dispatch as most places do
