[FONT=&quot]Booked a limo through limobroker.co.uk at least a month in advance. Four days before the event I get a phone call to say the Limo has gone in for repairs and they would look into alternatives and get back to me. I had to ring them back the next day to enquire what was happening when I was told she had advised me yesterday to look into alternatives as they couldn't provide my limo. I said it wasn't good enough and that they had an obligation to provide me with a Limo to which she replied they didn't my contract was with the Limo Driver not them - I think this must happen a lot!!! USELESS and AVOID!!!

Why do you think this must happen a lot ?

If they don't have a limo, they don't have a limo.
  • Because she was insistent they didn't have an obligation to me as they were the broker and the actual limo driver had the obligation. They took no responsibility for it. If they are a broker they would be able to find a replacement limo - I did!

Maybe she didn't want to help you for some reason ? IMO telling someone that "it's not good enough" isn't always the best way to deal with things. You catch more flies with honey than vinegar.

I remember the name (remember thinking it odd people would use a broker rather than looking for a local company at the time) and there was a Limo Broker Ltd, which looks to be the same one, featured on Watchdog a while back...

Did see some good reviews online too when looking up that story though in fairness.

Sounds like a pointless middleman company. Take your money and book something for you, but then disclaim all responsibility if things go wrong.
