Very wet & blustery round my way. Temps not freezing, but not warm either.
I'm quite looking forward to a cold spell & a bit of snow! It'll make a change from rain0 -
Yes, me too!0

I'm in the east Midlands and it's pretty mild here, with some days still reaching double figures.
The heating is on timer though cause it's usually a bit chilly by the time I get home.
I've definitely had enough of going to work in the dark and coming home in the dark!0 -
Definitely feeling colder here in NE Derbyshire, the last couple of days, although I am glad we haven't got the heavy frost and snow of last year. I love it until I have to go and do something and it makes all the outside jobs so much harder work!
I have been struck down by some weird mini virus the last couple of days, headache, nausea and achey! Oddly I went to bed feeling dreadful and woke up fine! Hopefully I have fought it off but currently eating my weight in clementines just to make sure.0 -
I finally gave in and bought heated blankets this year for the kids' beds. Wish I had bought them sooner! They are fantastic. (I've tested, just to be sure of course, during the day when it was really freezing cold).0

Well in the NE winter has hit! It's freezing and the sleet and frost is here! Kids went to bed with extra blankets on top and thick Pjs!Living the simple life0

I'm in the NE so feeling the cold too. Considering heated blankets for the times when OH's snoring gets too much and I end up in the spare room trying to get some sleep. (Yes, he says to wake him so he'll move but it seems a shame somehow...) Can I ask which ones you decided to buy please? The beautiful thing about learning is nobody can take it away from you.
Thanks to everyone who contributes to this wonderful forum. I'm very grateful for the guidance and friendliness that I always receive from you.
