M&s

Hi all.
I thought I'd go for the M&S credit card and get the £30 voucher.
I applied, was accepted, sent my signed form back then received an e-mail stating that they wanted me to phone to discuss my application in further detail??
I rang, was put through to another department, held for 5 minutes, a rep spoke then I was cut off.
I rang back.
The rep said I may be waiting for up to 15 minutes and could they call me back in the next 2 hours.
I said no as it isn't convenient.
Then they said I could say a time.
I told them I don't work from home and I needed to be in front of my computer so now is a good time.
I said goodbye and hung up.
Anyone else had hassle?
I never seem to have the same hassle when the call centres are UK based.
