Just to update everyone, Chloe the Yodel representative very kindly tried to track down the parcel for me. Unfortunately Yodel don't have any record of having received the parcel from Citipost/13ten so there's nothing they can do. I'm going to make my claim on eBay now. I know that you guys have had bad experiences with Yodel, but I'm not sure if they're to blame in this case. If anybody ever has the option of sending something with Citipost/13ten, I really wouldn't recommend it.

You'll get issues with most couriers, in proportion to others I've used I've had more problems with Yodel than any other, both as a buyer and a seller.
Most people don't know which courier is delivering their parcel until a fault develops along the way. Time will tell how well Yodel do this year, will they be up for a treble?

  • Wow. Yodel must be seriously bad if they beat Hermes into second place.

Well the Daily Mail don't like their handling of the ceramic poppies

That's a pretty abysmal outcome for Yodel.

Citipost are not doing very well either:

It really depends on where you live. It may be a shock for people but couriers are people and so have bad days like the rest of us. Our local Yodel driver is lovely and must be under-employed as he will spend 5 mins chatting before you can prise the parcel from him.

As it has been mentioned all couriers have bad reviews. People have a problem with a courier and tell you never to use them and never shop with anyone who uses them. Yet these companies carry on in business and big companies contuine to use them.

It is a real shame that there is no information on what percentage of parcels have issues by each courier. As this would be a real measure of a courier rather than the constant moans of a few people who have one parcel go missing.

It is very frustrating when something goes wrong but in my experience as long as you have followed their terms and conditions then couriers will compensate you when it goes wrong.
  • Another update - Chloe from Yodel emailed me this morning to let me know that the parcel arrived at Yodel, finally. It went out for delivery today and I just received it. So it had a ten day snooze someplace but now it's here! I'm happy to have gotten it, just wish it didn't have the ten day snooze so I didn't have spend so much time trying to figure things out.

How coincidental that it finally arrived with Yodel the day after they confirmed they didn't have it.;)
