I used MSE to find a good landline/broadband deal and went online to use the given code to get £100 Amazon vouchers and a good deal from EE. Their online system worked fine up to a point, but allowed me to select an unavailable date which resulted in my having to wait 4 weeks in total to get a landline and broadband. (I had no contact about this, but sat at home on the due date waiting for engineer who never came).
Their systems are dodgy as the day after their engineer finally installed my landline I rang them to get a contract mobile phone. Long story short, 8 days later, several hours and numerous 'customer service reps' later I was no nearer to getting a phone as the credit check kept being refused, and I met a brick wall when trying to find the reason (bearing in mind I've just been taken on as a landline/broadband customer!) In the end I went to Virgin, who sorted out the issue (purely that the houses in my postcode all have names and not numbers!), credit check went OK and I also got a better deal.
All in all a very stressful experience, so once my year is up I won't return to them whatever they offer. Orange are under the same umbrella and their customer service is of a similar ilk.

Did you take out a contract with EE ??
If so has EE cancelled it ??0 -
The broadband contract stands but I never got a mobile contract - that's how crazy their systems are, their engineers had been to my address twice to sort out the landline but then they refused me a mobile!0
