Keeping dog's paws dry in this weather

Not being rude to krlyr but don't bother with the Trixie Walker dog boots as they are too flimsy and do not secure well.On anything but grass they wear through in minutes. You can make better boots yourself from an old leather coat as they are basically a sock.
However I use and would recommend the Trixie Walker Active which are a decent boot with a rubber sole and double Velcro fasteners.
My eldest today wore his on rear paws---couple of miles on shingly beach,in the sea,wet grass and pavement and did not adjust at all.
But they are not waterproof and the largest size XL are too small for his front paws(luckily only need them for the rear).Zara being female may have more delicate, pretty lady paws.
I buy child's small size Gortex socks and use them in conjunction with the boots. The tight Velcro around the bony ankle keeping everything in place.
Will never be perfect for long grass etc.but apart from shrink wrapping or cling filming her feet I suggest Gortex sock and a decent boot as a reasonable compromise0
