PIP assessment

Hello its been nearly 5 weeks since friend had PIP home assessment with Capita at home,but still no result yet ,today called DWP and they still waiting for Capita to send the report to DWP,the guy on phone told us to contact capita ask why report still not sent back to dwp,but friend contacted her case worker at CAB and they said wait . is that normal ? nearly 5 weeks and still Capita not sending assessment report to DWP? is that god or bad sign? anyone been in smiler situation? thanks

    It depends whether they have everything they need and if the report has been written up or not. It could even be in audit which does happen sometimes. As DWP said, give them a ring and ask what's going on, don't listen to CAB.

    Whats aduit is it like Reassessment?? its been 5 weeks and they still not sent back to dwp,

    Do you have Capita contact number? landline ? on thier webiste there is number 08081788114 but i think that charges alot? thanks

    Audit is when your file is checked by others to make sure Capita/Atos are doing their job properly. It's nothing to worry about and will have nothing to do with the decision on your claim. I have no idea what their phone number, sorry. None of my assessments have been with Capita only ATOS.
