  • Not much good complaining to Aldi facebook page about getting shafted by PE Parking, you just get fobbed off.
ps its not run by Aldi but a PR firm.
I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.
  • Yes. We reserved scarefest tickets at Alton towers got there 'sorry we're sold out' complained in person got no where, put something on Twitter and had tickets in a couple of minutes

  • yes it is, i need to shout, get it sorted or i run off to buck of face

I was shouting but the profanity filter, S!!!!horpe kicked off when I checked and went advanced and reduced my shouting a mild lower case. Forgive me, cos I have had enough.
  • Complained about Royal Mail on Twitter after an unsuccessful attempt via the "usual" way on the website.

The postman kept bending everything. Particularly upsetting when he bent what was to be the last ever birthday card my grandma would ever send me...

Got an instant reply on Twitter, and an apology. They said to send the form, so this time it got a quick reply, the postman apparently got a talking to, and hey presto, he's never bent our stuff again. Win!
  • if you want a result yes, as there's a far far wider audience that may (or may not!) be interested in what's happening to you.

I've used it a couple of times and got completely different reactions to when I complained in the traditional manner.

However I think it also means that you have to complain in a more rational manner as otherwise you just come across as a person on a rant

Yodel has to have the worst Twitter account to complain to, it's run by a bunch of Chavs. They seem to get all excited if one of their drivers does their job properly (maybe because it's so unusual).
