Autotrader do not use

I have recently paid 45.95 for a 3 week ad with autotrader. This autotrader ad used telesafe, which is their filtering system to avoid spam calls. After a week I had had no calls, despite the ad being viewed hundreds of times, the price being right, and the car being the only one for miles.
I dropped the price 500, thinking that was the problem, still no calls, despite hundreds more views.
Eventually after nearly 2 weeks I got a call. the caller said they had been trying to ring for weeks but the telesafe number was dead. I then recieved a flurry of calls over the next few days, all saying the same thing, that the autotrader telesafe number had not been working.
I rang Autotrader to complain and request a partial refund on my ad fees. They refused, stating all these people had obviously taken the number down wrongly and that there was nothing wrong with their system.
Please don't use this company autotrader they will take your money, not provide the service paid for and then deny responsibility and lay the blame with you and their other customers.

Autotrader advertise and help sell thousands (if not tens of thousands) of vehicles each month and like any company that has this sort of turnover, they will get it wrong sometimes.
A bad experience by one person is hardly like to get every other potential customer running away.0 -
