IVA Completed and past 6 years
Hi
We have completed our IVA and have certificate, its been more than 6 years since it was started so are in the process of getting credit files updated. Would we stand a chance with a bank/building society to get a mortgage or would it be better to deal with companies that have previous experiences with IVA'ers??

You need to build up your credit score, maybe look at a Vanquis credit card. Very high interest rates so make sure you pay it off. Do this for a while and do a credit check with Experian. Great workNever make assumptions always ask questions>>>>>;)0

Very possible that you can get a mortgage, depending on your deposit level.
Stay off the High Street so use a whole of market broker, they will be able to place you if you have enough deposit saved."Dream World" by The B Sharps....describes a lot of the posts in the Loans and Mortgage sections !!!0
