Contactless Payments dont show up in available balance!!!

Really? You need to tell Nationwide then because they're issuing contactless cards on their basic bank accounts.

I think Barclays are, too.

Even though you'd have exactly the same issue with any low-value offline debit card transactions, whether contactless or Chip & PIN?
