Just called EE to try to pay a bill, to lovingly be told I'm not who I say I am despite a correct password.
Any chance someone could tell me why someone else would want to pay my bills for me? I just can't work it out.........

I had something similar - I had a letter from a debt collector who had been trying to find me for a couple of years. I quickly realised the debt was mine so called to pay it - only for them to not believe that I am who I say I am.. the bill remains unpaid and hasn't shown up on my credit history so far.0

The bill was paid, I just wasn't too happy at having to call OH (who has the car with the bill in it) to find out how much it was
