Morning everyone. Frost again here this morning and it's so cold outside.
My plan for today:
B/L/D from stores. Weekly shop arrived earlier so all stocked up and menu-planned for the week.
NSD
NPD (no petrol day). Too cold to venture out today
Check online banking
Update YNAB and spreadsheet
Someone collected an item I sold on the weekend...£3 into my coin pots
Working 3 hours overtime tonight, from the comfort of my own bed with the laptop
Load of washing into machine and on airer to dry
Pick up hubby's main xmas present online as I have spotted it on half price offer
Enjoy your day everyoneDebt free since May 20150 -

Grrr, couldn't start the jelly as we've run out of lemons. Instead of factoring in an hour or so to walk to the farm shop to buy some, I decided to use the leeks I dug up yesterday instead & made a big pan of yummy leek & potato soup. Also had a sift through the fridge & found half a cabbage hanging around waiting to die, so that is now a bowl of coleslaw to have with tonight's meal. Braved big white frost to go out & pull the last of the radishes too.
DawnW- I may not be far behind you on the BM front. My Panasonic is being a bit iffy at the moment. It can't seem to get started with the churning. Am limping it on for now though.

Hiya
A few other bits of good news on the small things front. I just checked my annual water consumption & found that we are still over paying. When we moved in 3 years ago they put us on £39 a month. Then £26. They've just told me we only need to pay £15 a month now so Im pleased about that. This is great timing as we need to increase our Life & critical illness cover slightly (due to remortgaging in the summer, the fees on top of the remortgage pushed the total up about £2k) so that was about to go up £10 a month. So all good there & still a £1 up.
I was just updating our annual investments, debts, budgets file for next year & noticed that the savings bond I'd set up 5 years ago for my son, my niece & my nephew, have now matured so they are worth £13 more than the £100 I paid all that time ago. I will cash it in I think, is there any point in keeping bonds over the time period? And put the money into his building society account. At least he will get some interest then?
Ratison -Glad to be of service!
Carrie - I used this recipe for the ginger bread (the site is called Good to Know) just look up Ginger Bread when you get there..the lime icing is super easy just use some lime juice & icing sugar, I mix mine quite thick & then drizzle it on. Pop it in the fridge to set.
Oh dear having just tried to post it, it comes out in wing dings, but try the site I mention." Your vibe attracts your tribe":D
