I know it's Thursday, and we normally have afternoon tea on a Wednesday, but it's school holidays and I'm out of my routine. Let's have afternoon tea today.
The kettle is on. The table is laid with my best china. I have lots of nice goodies to share. So come and join me and share your news with friends old and new.
I'll pour the drinks.

I'm just sorting out some of DD's clothes that she's outgrown. I've got 3 piles. Give away, throw away, Ebay.
We had a bit of a flood scare over the past week.
I had to get things ready to move upstairs and it actually made me realise how much stuff I have that I don't need. So over the school holiday I am going to find six things each day to either throw away, give away or Ebay.
Luckily we didn't get flooded.Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.

Well I can say today has been a very unproductive day so far so I may as well stop for tea.
Someone mentioned Facebook on here yesterday and since then - I have been absolutely unable to do anything but browse, it is so addictive, nosing about what everyone I went to school with is now up to.
Do we have any sweetners though because I am supposed to be on a diet so not taking sugar in tea.
What biscuits are on offer today? I have jaffa cakes?Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 607 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts :T

I'm new to posting on this type of thread, so :hello:
Thought I'd join in for a change. Gosh, that almost flooding sounds horrible. Of course, we've all seen it on the news, but it seems like another world really. Not much happening like that down my way (South Herts and London).
I must really get my bum in gear about eBay. Bf has just sold his Xbox on it, but wish we'd found a no listing fee day to do it on. Does anyone know when the next one is, so that I can start gathering up all my stuff to put them on?
I'm just stuck at work at the moment, only another 1 hour 31 minutes to go. Get so bored it's unbelievable. Can't wait till Sep when I am starting my bookkeeping course, so I might be able to leave.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

I've got ginger nuts, digestives, Penguins & shortbread. Or Madiera cake, fruit cake & flapjacks (or jackflaps as DD calls them).
I tried ebaying 2 very nice little girls' dresses last week and neither of them sold. I could do with making some money towards the DFW Olympic Challenge,Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in.
