Of course it's a scam.
Whatever you do, do not give them any banking details. It is far more likely that they will take money from your account, than it is that they will put money into it.I can afford anything that I want.

Word of advice. Never listen to any random claim callers. Ever. They are either scammers or money grabbing pests looking to take 25% of your cut if you have a claim. I'm not sure how you find out but try not to worry. If they phone again and ask you to pay upfront fees, tell them where to go.
If you believe you have a claim then go direct to your bank and forget these stupid claims callers. All they do is pass on your details for the price of a postage stamp and any redress you get will then be used in fees to pay them.Total Mortgage OP £61,000Outstanding Mortgage £27,971Emergency Fund £62,100I AM NOW MORTGAGE NEUTRAL!!!! <<Sep-20>>0 -

If you haven't given them any account details then let it be a lesson for future - they will probably flag you as a "mark" or "gullible" on their system and you will probably get calls from ambulance chasers and PPI reclaims teams.
In the mean time, if you feel you were mis-sold the Lloyds account then complain direct to Lloyds explaining why - if you used the account benefits they may reject it, if you never used them then you may get a refund.Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
