Pioneer looks like it's going to sound better, and has bluetooth which I can't see on the Roberts - very handy for playing stuff from your phone or whatever without having to mess with cables.
But the Roberts is a good bit smaller and cheaper...0 -
Neither. The sound on this beast is amazing, oh and it looks good too

You didn't mention a CD player. You asked about an "internet radio/ streaming music player" .....
I asked which of the two i added links to i should go for.
Both have CD playing components.
I did not ask for alternatives, but thanks Frogmella for taking the time to postNever put off till tomorrow what you can do today!

Have a look at the Cocktail Audio X10, it plays all types of internet radio and will rip and store all your cds on it's internal HDD and has a built in 60 watt amp. I have had one for nearly 3 years and it's brilliant."Imagination is more Important than knowledge"0

I'm going through a similar process at the moment.
I'm probably going to get this:-
http://www.johnlewis.com/roberts-blutune-50-2-1-bluetooth-dab-dab-fm-digital-radio-black/p633364
Which is the baby brother of one of your choices. Though this has Bluetooth.
Roberts, generally, have a good reputation, though they may not be the geeky choice.
BTW I've had two false starts on this (two products bought from Argos and taken back). I would strongly recommend that you seek out an online copy of their manuals if any particular feature, or its usability is important to you.0 -

now that is a nice bit of kit, but including speakers and wifi dongle takes it out of my budget by £100ish.
Still worth considering though. thanksNever put off till tomorrow what you can do today!
