Builder advice pls: Using mastic frame sealer in this cold weather

We applied some Sealocrete frame sealant tonight to seal in a gap we found between the bottom of our back door frame and the masonry which we only spotted because slugs were getting in since our kitchen lino was taken up! I just read the datasheet online which says minimum application temp 4 degrees so I am wondering if the sealer will set in this cold weather. any ideas? will it just set slower or break down?

I have insulated the base of the back door/threshold area with a rolled up thick woven groundsheet (outdoor carpet for camping) in the hope it will keep the temperature a bit warmer under there and and help the setting process - there should be a little warm air coming from the indoor side too.

No idea if our fix will work. Any advice appreciated. Thanks!
