Got it. Not trying to be completely selective.
But it still smacks of poor practice when a company isn't able to cover mistakes that are costing them small sums of money.
It is a subject that comes up time and time again.
The customer (you) feels that they have bought and paid for the goods but the seller (Zavvi) has an inbuilt delay in the system which allows them to catch mistakes and avoid selling things at a price they don't want to.
Not the same as going into a shop, buying something and realising a mis-price means you have walked out with a bargain.

But it might not be small sums of money.
If there was a website error and an incorrect code was accepted for every order, the "tens of pounds" discount could well mean that every order sold whilst the incorrect code was shown was getting sold at a loss.0
