AST Tenancy Agreement

Can anyone recommend a good website to download an AST Tenancy Agreement?

Needs to be supplied to Lender for BTL.

Ideally I only want this tenant for 6 months.

Thanks in advance

  • Join one of the landlord associations (RLA, NLA), doesn't cost much.

As above. Joining the RLA costs about £79, and the fee can be charged against taxable income. You will also get very cheap Landlord's Insurance through them. They have downloadable agreements on their website which you can access immediately you join. You may also need their help if your tenant chooses not to leave when you want them to.
  • You need rather more documents that just an AST.

Join NLA or RLA, use all their documents, take their training courses, use their helpline

Disnae matter if tenancy says 6 months, tenant can stay longer.
  • Thanks for the responses but ideally I want one that I can download immediately free of charge - any recommendations?

Does your tenant know that you only want them for six months?
Just because the agreement is for six months doesn't mean they will move out at the end of that period...
  • I have a tenancy agreement I can email to you for £10.00 in Word Document, so you can amend to suit. You can pay via Paypal by a gift.

Membership of the RLA costs less than £60 after tax relief, you can join online in seconds and download an AST template immediately. Despite this you want something for free.

Like others here I question your priorities and whether you know enough to become a landlord. Are you going to get a gas certificate on the cheap? Are you not going to bother to credit check your tenants to save money? Do you know how to protect a deposit?

I look forward to your thread in six months asking how to remove tenants who have refused to leave.
