blower not working

fiesta 2004. Ok my blower was only working on setting 4 then on none I changed the resister still nothing

    Fuse, Switch or Motor. get the test meter on them and see what gets power and what doesnt.

    Dont spend too long with the ignition on and the engine not running or you may flatten your battery.

    Sounds like you've blown the resistor packs thermal fuse again.

    It blows for a reason, changing it just fixes the symptom, not the cause.

    The other symptom will be rust on the blower motors bearings/shaft, the cause will be moisture getting into the blower, either because of an old pollen filter OR because the screen scuttle drainage channel is blocked up with leaves.

    You need to change the pollen filter, clean out the scuttle and find a way to get oil (not WD40) into the blower.

  • is thire not a inline fuse? and which fuse in fuse box is it f49?

    By not fixing the original fault sooner you have probably caused more damage.

    No inline fuse.

    get yourself a haynes manual. The blower will rely on other fuses also.
