parcel booked for collection this morning in Scotland , paid for etc fri afternoon


showing online that it was collected sat , and made it 300 miles for a failed delivery at 17.40pm sat evening


a online talk with there chat:

alan xxxx: I am the person to whom it is being sent , not the sender , why is your tracking saying it been collected and attempted delivery made

Kajal Sharma: I am sorry for the incorrect tracking update.

Kajal Sharma: As per the tracking i can confirm that the parcel has not yet entered our network.

alan xxxx: will you reset the tracking info ? , based on the parcel , when is delivery due?

alan xxxx: the tracking shows IT IS IN YOUR NETWORK

alan xxx: I am looking at online tracking , the page has just refreshed , it is still out for re delivery , yet you now say its not been collected?

Kajal Sharma: Due to technical issues the tracking was not updated correctly, However i have checked the details and can see that our courier will attempt collection today.

alan xxxx: for delivery when?

Kajal Sharma: I request you to contact your shipper for any information.

alan xxxx: why , the parcel has been booked by YOU , its your responsibility to collect and delivery , when (what date) do you propose to delivery , and for the second time , are you going to reset the tracking to its truthfull nature , or just leave it a shambles

Kajal Sharma: I am sorry but we are only obliged contractually to assist the shipper

Kajal Sharma: As mentioned above our courier will attempt collection today.

alan xxx: ok , what is the point of ebay giving a link to tracking , when false info is reported , and the customer mislead

alan xxx: will you reset the tracking to show the correct details ,or will I never know its whereabouts?

Kajal Sharma: And for any investigation to be processed, it has to be raised through proper channels, which in this case is the payee.

is there any point in a ebay seller giving you a link (tracking number) with nyhermes , it is clear that they will not talk to the recipitant

YOu know I have had an almost identical experiance with them myself only I am sending a parcel.

Booked to be collected Friday but when the MyHermes courier gets here she says she can't take it as it doesn't have the barcode tracking label in it and they will be back to collect it saturday morning, not having a working printer we have to go to the library in town and print off the label and wait for it to be collected saturday it wasn't so look at the status online and it says it's out for delivery at the other end. Get onto live help (Ha! Help!) who says it will definitely be collected today (Saturday) Not collected, try live 'help' sunday no help at all just keeps saying I had to wait till they email me with another collection date. Check today it says the parcel that is still sat here in my house is out for it's 2nd delivery attempt in Tyne and Wear! I am so angry, I asked if they knew when it would be collected as I had someone waiting for it but all they could say was I have to wait for 'The Investigation team' to get beck to me!

Absolute load of pants service, this was my first time using them, I don't think there will be a second. :mad:

I'm in the same boat (I'm the sender)had numerous issues the past couple of months, lost parcels, damaged parcels, no show pick ups numerous times, parcels apparently attempted delivery numerous times, one was making its way back to me only to show up with the buyer a month after being sent! (And I'd refunded) Got a few invoices saying iv under paid! (Iv not) they are a bloody nightmare at the min! Ohh and website issues! Log in errors basket checking out errors list is endless lol! I had the exact same tracking issue as you also with all 8 parcels sat in my hallway out for delivery lol! Got a neutral on ebay for that aswell :-( lol

even after denying they could alter tracking info it is now showing as collected and in there system

yup , now seems to have been collected at 16.50 YESTERDAY , but not reached there depot yet .


looking at there compensation and banned products


no electrical goods , no motor parts , no jewellery , no documents of any value ,,,a book perhaps? very little left if you take those off ebay


even a tin of car shampoo is a motor part?

On a side note something iv found they are pretty good at is paying out claims ;-) so far This month iv had 2 lost and one damage claim paid out within a week ;-)
