Have a look on the debt free wannabe section as people post their soa for ideas. Do yourself a spending diary, I have started using ynab software this year, and it has saved me a fortune on impulse purchases of a tenner here or there then you wonder where all your money went.
Once you know your impulse areas eg food or clothes or games you then start budgeting more for that so you enjoy those purchases more as you've "earned" them.
