No one will install fire
Hi guys
I purchased a second hand Bellfire Horizon XL and have called all local installers. They either come out and say "it's too big, I've never done a fire like this and won't risk it" or say "as you never brought the fire from us, we won't install it".
I live in Derby and wondered if anyone knows who would be willing to install the fire?

There'll be someone experienced with that fire type. Looks nice though. Try ringing the manufacturer for some suggestions.:footie:

The problem you are going to have is, who ever installs it has to vouch for the whole installation. And as they don't know where the fire has come from or its condition they are going to be reluctant to do so.
Just go down the gas safe register list when you type in your postcode and see if you can find any one, but I wouldnt hold your breath or expect it will to be a cash in hand job.
I understand why you have bought second hand to try and save some money, but who ever you do find will prob want more to justify the risk and maybe cheaper to try and get rid and try again from new."talk sense to a fool and he calls you foolish" - Euripides0
