Help, UPVC door blew open and damaged top hinge.

Hi all, not really sure if it is called a hinge but it is a thin strip of metal that stops the door swinging wide open. Anyway, the wind took the door out of my hand and this part has been ripped out of the UPVC and now there is a hole and nothing to screw it into.
Is it possible to repair it? I was thinking of moving it along slightly or what else could I do?
Thanks in advance.

I must remember that "Money Saving" is not buying heavily discounted items that I do not need. :hello:

Door restrictor friction stay.
Move it along slightly, probably have to do the same where it attaches to the top recess of the door too otherwise you'll change the point at which it stops the door opening.

You could try green tubed Gripfill applied with a skeleton gun into the frame, allow to go hard then screw into this. Or an epoxy filler.0
