Dubai Airport - are there smoking areas?

I've 4 hours in Dubai Airport flying in from Glasgow before flying on to Beijing - can anyone tell me if you are able to smoke anywhere in the airport as I can't see anything on their website - thanks.

Yes several. They are all tiny, badly fumigated, and glass fronted so everyone can smirk at the smokers! There is also an Irish Bar that allows you to smoke.

That is unless anything has changed since last November.

Brilliant - thanks for your reply - disgusting habit but I hate flying so something to do in the 4 hours I have apart from shop!

yes as sam bee said the irish village you can smoke its nr gate 21-25
