Most still seems to be recommending ICICI as the best 'simple' account..... my first electronic transaction with them from my linked current account (a £10 'test'..) has still not gone through after nearly four weeks .... they are still telling me to wait !!

does not seem to be getting any mentions, yet as far as I can see at 6.4%AER it's the best monthly interest account (albeit 30 days notice....)
Anyone want to defend ICICI or recommend a better monthly interest account for circa £40K ???
(actually no, dont bother defending ICICI .... I've lost faith ....!! ) - but any better Monthly interest accounts gratefully received.
