Item lost in transit?!?

I bought two headphones from Currys not long ago and when it arrived, I only recieved one of them. I spoke to Currys and they said they'll do some investigation and get back to me. They reported it lost in transit.
The parcel wasn't tampered and it was perfectly fine.
When I checked the parcel the weight said 1kg and the weight for the 1 headphone I recieved was half of that, 500g. I told Currys this and they said they'll note this as part of their investigation.
Where do I stand?

Well where you stand is that you're entitled to your missing headphone. How much where they and how did you pay? Have Curry's given you a decision on what they're going to do yet?

Did the delivery note state that there were one or two pairs of headphones in the package?

Did it say something like "package 1 of 2"?

Have they given you a refund? If they acknowledge that they were lost in transit, they should give you your money back / send some more.
