How much 'air' needed above Sky box?

in Techie Stuff
am fitting a sky box with multiroom in the kitchen and an LED tv on the wall high up, and the only suitable place for the box is on a small shlef mounted close to the ceiling, how much space would i need to leave between the top of the box, and the ceiling roughly?
