I am declaring an NSD for yesterday, phew....this is hard in the middle of December! ;) I'm always tempted to get another wee thing for the DDs...

Hi.Please state the nsd number in your post ie #4.It makes it so much easier for me. :)

Right, Igor, grab the emergency sleigh and harness up Hubert and a team of whatever animals you can find on this island and get on that plane to rescue marmite. We have had an SOS message to say she is buried 26 feet deep under a mountain of boxes and suitcases after the house move, and only has a packet of cheesy wotsits to survive on. Even a crate of your finest turnip whisky and ferret and chutney sarnies will be gratefully received. Er, when lining up the sleigh team, Hubert should be at the front because he is the biggest. Not the monkeys and chickens.

    That was a life saver.Thanks!

I'm up to page 17,but I have to go out now.I'll be back later, promise.

  • NSD #15/18 Will I manage another 3 before Thursday? Any sales/online shopping will come out of Christmas money, so that won't count. I also want to do a lot of de-cluttering before New Year so that should keep me busy!

    Afternoon all

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas. I have not posted for a while as it's been a busy month what with Christmas events, shopping and the commitments over Christmas itself.

Another mixed bag of news... I have overspent on my Christmas shopping and entertainment budgets  but underspent on my grocery. There were a couple of nights out after work which necessitated taxis home as it was too late to catch the train and I won't be allowed to claim for them. I so regret it now as taxis are so expensive but I did have a good time.

I will not manage my original pledge of 15 NSDs but am up to 10 although I have bagged 4 in-a-row, (target achieved) for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Saturday and today.

I am very lucky as I received some vouchers and cash for Christmas so will try and off-set some of the overspend for this month and may be help towards the first week of January.

I can't wait to start my new budget and spending diary next week. I am going to be so disciplined with myself. I did so much better with NSDs in 2013 than I have this year. Must do much better next year.

Am off to read back on all I have missed.

    Have a nice evening. :D
