Car accident - who is at fault
Can anyone advise who is at fault in the following situation?
Car A was driving along a road where up ahead car B had pulled out of a turning on the left and was waiting for the traffic to clear from the left in order to turn right into the road where car A was travelling. Car B was blocking the road on the side where car A was travelling. Instead of stopping, car A attempted to drive around car B into the path of oncoming traffic and collided with the front of car B causing damage. Is it driver A for failing to pay due care and attention or driver B for blocking the road?
Thanks

When you drive through a give way sign and park your car in front of an oncoming vehicle it is your fault

Oncoming vehicle that is on the wrong side of the road passing a junction, sounds like defensive driving to me
I must remember to drive into people instead of stopping, I'm just too patient and courteous.0 -

The approach to a junction may have a ‘Give Way’ sign or a triangle marked on the road. You MUST give way to traffic on the main road when emerging from a junction with broken white lines across the road.

Does it mention driving into stationary vehicles is best practice when it could be avoided?0

Why did car A attempt to pass a vehicle pulling out? They need to learn to be patient. How long would it have delayed them to slow down and let it pull out?
3 seconds 5 seconds?
That few seconds of impatience will have cost them some no claims or an increased premium.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Guess it depends if this car was taking avoiding action, or just being discourteous; and how long was car in the way and stopped before collision.0
