New TV

Hi

We're thinking about buying a small TV for the kitchen but we have no aerial point in there. We also live in a Victorian house that has very thick walls. We do have Wi-Fi and I could easily extend it into the kitchen. Is it possible to watch TV just via the internet or do I need an aerial (internal or external) of some description? We have PLUSNET as our phone provider.

Thanks

David

You can "watch" TV via the internet. For example using things like iPlayer and ITV player etc... But you'll need to have a reasonable speed broadband connection and a good Wi-Fi signal.

You're likely going to need a "smart TV" or some form of little box with smart TV abilities; like an Apple TV box or Chromecast.
