Death of Executor

Please does anyone know for sure?

OH is one of 2 executors who have been granted probate in order to deal with an estate.

The property which forms the bulk of the estate is in the process of being sold, but contracts not yet exchanged.

The other executor was dealing with the day to day paperwork as OH is not local and still working.

Sadly the other executor has passed away this week.

Will OH as the only remaining executor be able to complete all the necessary administration under the existing probate or will he need to obtain probate in his sole name?

Anything else he needs to be aware of?

Thankyou for any advice
