Hi, I had this very problem myself last year I was trying to buy a tablet for my technophobe father. . My father who, when internet, emails etc. was easily available to all a few years back and I was very excited about it, he said "Don't worry, it will all go away. People are not interested, they will lose interest very soon in this thing".
Since then I call him 'The Prophet'.
Anyway.... last year a bought him a tablet and since then he is barely sleeping reading and surfing everything 'in that thing' and he has saturated my WhatsApp and viber with messages.
I don't remember what tablet and how much it was... so what was the point of this post..? Can't remember. .. :-)*_*_* Department of Redundancy Department *_*_*0
