Which TV is best for connecting to PC.

Dear all,
my pc monitor has died and I also need to buy a tv, so have decided to just buy a tv which will give best results as a monitor as well.
Any suggestions most appreciated.:j

    All modern TVs should display a good picture if using hdmi.

    My 7 year old Bush 32" LCD looks fine connected this way!

    A TV is OK for casual use. A dedicated monitor is much better.

    Is this still the case though? surely a 1920x1080 with 2ms response time and a decent contrast should look good regardless of it being a TV or dedicated monitor?
