To claim income support , how much savings are you allowed to have ?, and also how much is child benefit for one child ? Asking on behalf of a friend, thank you ...

income support starts being withdrawn when savings hit 6k.
at 16k of savings no income support would be paid.
child benefit is just over £20 for 1 child

Its a sliding scale, starting, as said above at £6k and at £16k then none would be paid.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.

Child benefit for the first child is £20.50 and £13.55 for the second, third, etc.0
