It wasn't the dishwasher tablets that were "keeping me up" (otherwise I would have written I had stayed up for them). Sadly it was someone else in my household that kept getting up throughout the night that "kept me up" and they were completely restless and couldn't sleep at all:(. Made me late in the morning - and missed the glitch. Oh well!

Sorry it didn't work savvy.I've got some wombles to check later.Hope there is something worth noting on them.

The morning update (6/7am) worked for zippy as Sainsbobs price of £6 appeared.
The multis were off all night (msm) - in the sense that they were still not there at the time I went out (about 9.15am) - and I noticed they had appeared sometime before 10am. I now think they were on at the time of my shop (9.30am). Which... might have worked, except the check came after midday update and I think it then works back to what was on msm at the time of your shop.
In other words, if you buy at 8.30am, multis come on at 9am, you are okay as checking at 11.30am gets the 6/7am update. You could have shopped after 9am and it still be okay. However, if there had been an update (e.g. at 12.15pm), the update would then take the 9am cut off into the system.
There's two updates - 6/7am and midday/12.30pm. If multis are absent at 6am/7am, it works through till the midday/12.30pm reaches the system. If multis are still off at that second update, it works until 6am/7am the following day. It both depends on when you check and when you did your shop. In other words, shopping prior to 6am/7am would have worked (in the sense of getting A full prices) as multis obviously weren't on at 12/12.30pm yesterday, indeed the offer was not even on then, although the Sainsbobs price would have returned full on such a shop:(. Shopping after the 6am/7am update, at any time as the mbuys were not on msm at the 6am/7am update time itself (it's some point between those times and varies slightly each day), would have worked - even if after the mbuys had appeared on msm - as long as receipt check is before the 12/12.30 update, at which point it depends on whether your shop was before or after the mbuys had appeared on msm.

There are no updates other than morning and lunchtime (approx.). Msm may change in the afternoon (I've seen Morries pricing being changed around 4pm after I've returned and got them from instore) and in the evening (I've seen it changing around 8 and 9pm, which is why I thought shopping after 9pm was risky), but none of this affects the APG (until the next update, around 6/7am the following morning).

As usual the multis were off all night. They can be off all night or all week but as ever they always appear at the precise moment that I go out shopping:mad:. They weren't there when I went out; they were on msm when I returned. Yet again:(.

i checked msm on my phone as i approached the till.
i did not use msl app as i don't think its as reliable in this case

I've not managed to get hold of any either :( My local few not had any. I even had a look in the Extra in Corby earlier in the week when we were over there. Wonder if my local doesn't have room as they still have so many gift guides/home mags out

Interesting - I thought it was more reliable. I only have msm.co.uk available to me (and then not when I'm out). Anyway - you all now have my latest exposition of what my theory now is.:)
