I have been lurking for sometime as this thread moves so fast and I don't really have anything of interest to add at the moment.
I would love to join in more as I love this thread and I have decided not to hid behind Happy's sofa anymore.
I hope I can find something to contribute soon. :j

I didn't mind buying him one, they don't have a high priced initial outlay like infinity does (I think). Means if they're not his kind of thing I've only wasted a few quid:beer: Happy Bargain Hunting!! :beer:0 -

Fair play to Waitrose on their customer service. Still don't really understand the policy though....? Neither of my vouchers said they couldn't be used in conjunction with others.
Thank you for contacting us, Emma
I'm sorry to hear of your recent experience in our Stratford City branch and I hope you'll accept my apologies for that.
Any 'per transaction' limitations would be specified in the terms and conditions of each voucher as these vary from offer to offer. The same information would be programmed on our tills's system so the tills would flag up a voucher that can't be used in conjunction with another/same voucher.
I've hence raised your comments with the branch management team who'll look into this to see how such inconvenience can be avoided in future.
I've also asked our correspondence team to send you a gift voucher in the post as token of further apology - this should be with you in around a week's time. Please note that this voucher can be spend in Waitrose and John Lewis both in-store and online. It doesn't have any minimum spent or expiry date applicable.
Thanks for taking the time and trouble to bring this to my attention. If I can help you with anything else, please don't hesitate to come back to me.

He has a 3ds (not sure if it's the right one) with SSB but he also has a wii u coming for Christmas with SSB too and I know it works with that
Hadn't realised the 3ds may be the wrong one, will look into it thanx
Edit: just checked, his DS is from Christmas last year so won't be the new version that is compatible.
