There are some cheeky b***ers on my post on the Consumer rights thread some even thought I was making it up. :rotfl:
I'm surprised anyone bothers trying to get advice on this forum now, some of it is horrible, and even more so if you're new. When DH and I were first looking at buying a house, we went on the house buying/selling/renting board and some of the posters were awful! When newbies asked questions about deposits and affordability, some posters basically replied saying 'if you have to ask, you shouldn't be buying because you don't know what you're doing, and you'll never have enough deposit so you might as well give up any thoughts of ever owning your own home'!
Don't get me wrong, some were lovely and very helpful, but some just get right up on their high horses and don't come down :mad:0 -

Tbh fairclaire I quite enjoyed it. I was polite in my title and I didn t say I was demanding my money back but I have been known to have a sharp tongue when the need be . Especially if people are trying to make a fool of me or are diddling me out of money
Well you got your money back. And well done for that. Don't waste any more time on people who have nothing better to do than pick arguments online, there are plenty of them! Some people feed on that stuff like that. If you ignore they get hungry and go elsewhere to look for food0 -
