Well, had a good day. Bedding dried outside, Christmas cake iced, paperwork done, just have some testing left to do, that will be done in half an hour or so.
I need to ice two cakes tonight (marzipanned them on Sunday), baked 2 more on sunday night that are still being fed, I'm late but can ice them on 23rd... Taking two big cakes up for mum and MIL this weekend and next weekend.

3 minute zap in microwave of the onions to soften them

Bubbs you're very naughty. Get yourself signed up, I've had over three grand out of quidco since I joined a few years ago. It soon all adds up - and I'm now with topcashback as well now since you can swap some for CC points and get up to 4x the value - fab. :D
    Hope is not a strategy.

No joy with UDIs today - apparently not in stock and no subs. There's a big new box on the high shelf in the store, lazy pickers. Not sure what it will do to my APG, it's not in yet.

I've been immensely cheered by the antics of LEJC's cat - especially the rearranging things back into the correct order bit :rotfl:

Ooh that sounds good, Ive got some whoopsied leeks in the freezer and for some reason that escapes me I've loads of potatoes and onions in stock at the moment! :rotfl: EDIT - Ooh, and cheese!!! :rotfl:

I made a beef stroganoff yesterday with a whoopsied steak and mushrooms, and in a shameless steal from a gorgeous pub lunch I had a while ago I added some thin strips of different coloured peppers and a splash of brandy Scrumptious, I'll do that again for a variation on a theme. :D
