They sound worse than they actually were. I also managed to offend the nurse who carried out the field test by using an alcoholic wipe to clean the chin rest on the machine before and after I put my chin on it. I don't care, how do I know who's been dribbling on it? :rotfl:

    How is your OH now?

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: That is exactly what I would do, why I would do it and probably exactly what I would say too :T

I would have thought they should automatically wipe it between patients!

O/h is very slowly improving, so hopefully, I will be released from jail and we may be able to meet for a coffee next week.:):)

  • Thanks to 10 Ways. Been on the look out for one of these Actifry / Airfry thingy-mabobys. £69 with a 2 year guarantee doesn't seem bad at all.

    Thanks :)
Yes he is still here and will be for the foreseeable. Settled into school very well. He's like DS2 thrives on being in a settled routine. Im currently trying to sort out arrangements for him for Christmas. I think he should spend time with his family but he's not keen on his mother's boyfriend and there's not enough room at his Grandparents house. He'd quite happily stay here so we will see what happens. Maybe the other kids can come and stay for a few days in the holidays? I don't know yet? It's important that he keeps ties with his family even if he doesn't think so!

Glad he has settled well, I agree with you even though he is happy with your family he still needs to maintain contact with his, especially his siblings and while he may not understand that now when he is older he will realise the importance of his own family but I am sure he will always realise how lucky he is that you have let him become part of your family xx

She assured me it was perfectly clean but I prefer my own assurances :o

Glad to hear he is on the mend. I've got a fair bit on next week as I launch myself properly into this new job but I've got a few gaps too some mornings. See how things pan out and give me a shout.

  • Afternoon all

Haven't been out today apart from to take DD to nursery. Was meant to be working but called in sick. Been feeling rough for the last 3-4 weeks, full of aches and pains and really drained and it finally got the better of me today and I didn't go in.

Got my email through from Q saying I've unlocked the £50 bonus, although I'm not entirely sure I've quite spent £100 will need to double check. Don't want to be missing out by a couple on pence :rotfl:
