It's a lovely one here as well. Only DS2 and I are awake so far. We are going for a walk on the beach. I selfishly love it when it's just the 2 of usThose little conversation nuggets that don't happen any other time.
Besides it'll distract us both from wondering who is in and asleep where........ive already stopped him from barging into the other bedrooms this morning :rotfl::rotfl:
Just read the tale of Barbie. Very entertaining. Really cheered me up as OH has got himself in a bit of a mess with Housing Benefit etc and has an interview with council on Tuesday. I have spent the weekend stressing over it as it looks like he ( and me of course ) might be in for a rough couple of weeks. It may mean he has to come back to live with me ( which I dont really want) or I may have to sell up. Dont want to go into too much detail but a bit of a mess.
Thought the last couple of weeks since DD and bf left was peaceful.
Anyway thanks FC for cheering me up0 -

How times have changed in our day ,you were super sly to be able to
have adult encounters in your parents house  and would go to
the toilet in two's so that the toilet only flushed once , that's how sly
you had to be even though you were only downstairs and the
boyfriend was a little late in going home. Many moons ago I let my ds
Girlfriend as they had courted for a couple of years do a
sleepover and sadly they split after 7years together very shortly after
that my son says his new girlfriend will be coming back tonight to
sleep .....my reply to this was ... OH NO SHE IS NOT , I bent over
backwards and allowed the previous Gf to stay over night as she
Had a long drive home and you were talking weddings houses etc etc
You are not having adult sleepovers again you want to be an adult
get your own house and have as many sleepovers you want ..I only
allowed it the first time as I thought they were committed to each other this
is my home and you must respect the fact that I do not want to wake
up meeting young ladies on my landing or in the bathroom
Well done on the dinner party Faire Claire
Ssm I would have went down stairs and turned the water off :rotfl:
And got back up early in the morning to turn it back on

Well, my first train ran 25 mins late - bloody typical its never been more than 10 min late since I started using it in Sept - so missed my connection by a minute!
Got the next one which was jam packed with shoppers and football supporters who were cracking open the stella and bottles of becks at 9.30am :eek: Ended up standing (never mind, burns more calories) and an announcement comes over the tannoy "we have xx amount of trains in our fleet, 63 are in operation, one is in for accident repair after hitting a car at a level crossing earlier in the year :eek: Wonderful, just what I want to hear!
Anyway, had a lovely catchup and the journey home was uneventful
Anyway, who am I to talk already had a glass of whisky this morning  medicinal purposes"He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Good morning bonkers lot :hello:I am not sure that the M vouchers were worth it this time (multiples anyway
) - trying to get to £10 to get £5 off is a real challenge. Or is it just me who struggles doing a £5 muggle shop for the additional £5 of fruit and veg?
AnonGood morning all
I used the Shopitize/cs free items to help make up my £10 so actually spent about £2 on stuff I wanted anyway
That reminds me, someone posted about buying Dr O to get to £5#CHEEKY :cool:0 -

LOL, I never thought of that… it would have made the point.
I quickly got over the idea of adult sleep overs, I really do not mind.

Morning
Enjoyed the stories of meeting the sons' girlfriends, brought back many a memory of meeting 'the mother' :rotfl: Glad the meeting of the Barbie went well though
I've been going through the box of plastic pots and am bewildered by how there are so many lids and pots that don't fit each other, really wish I hadn't washed them all again first nowFinal cigarette smoked 02/01/18

I would much rather they were safe than trying to find unsuitable places. Not that I know about that sort of thing.
It's only been DD1 that had adult sleepover here so far, she doesn't live here anymore and it's same BF she lives with now.
I would not worry about that, im sure your bed in the country retreat is more than adequate for a nice cosy sleepover when you are not there“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
