    Xmas Saver!
    Morning all,

Just a quick one for anyone who thinks their radiators are not running as well as could be. Wickes central heating cleaner is currently £0.47. This is usually £14 or there abouts.(though screwfix do one for £7.99). They also do a Boiler Noise Reduction additive, which reduces knocking noises and also improves the heat transfer efficiency, which is also reduced to £0.47. Delivery is a little bit of a killer for £5.95 (free if over £50 if you wanted to splash on something else, even if it wasnt 100% ideal for your house and you had to return it instore ;) ) To use these is a fairly simple DIY job, depending on your system, but can take hours to do as you have to drain the system, refill it, bleed radiators etc, so is quite expensive to get a plumber to do as it takes up so much of their expensive time. Both of these are suitable for metal and plastic systems.
