Carp day at work today. I'm finding the other lady on my team very hard work, one minute she's fine, helpful and nice, and I think I might actually enjoy working there, and the next she's sarcastic and snippy and telling me off for something I didn't even know I'd done wrong I obviously lucked out by having people I got on well with at my last place, as the people at this one, and particularly her, are in general very hard work

On the plus side, I have just bought my first amazon Black Friday deal! I bought hubby some woodworking tools from Lidl a few months back and I've just got him the Collins woodworking manual for £14. It was definitely an impulse purchase but at least there's some logic behind it, not just 'I need to buy something for someone, that's cheap, that'll do' which is what my dad seems to go for :rotfl:

I also think I have found the xbox deal I'm going to go for! :j Which I'm sure will be a relief to everyone that I stop posting about it :rotfl: Assuming amazon doesn't come up with a better offer for the combination I want (and it doesn't look like they will, as they don't stock it as a bundle already) so I'll be all Christmas shopped out for hubby by the end of the week Just my FIL to go...

Just an observation. Lots of new and old names. Why don't you all just stick around? We are all like pieces of a big jigsaw adding little snippets of information here and there....and sometimes it all fits together and we have a glitch. The more people that post the healthier the thread becomes.
