Thank you to whoever it was that posted the Venus email address. I've just had a reply and they are sending me a cheque! I don't have much luck with TMF and had resigned myself to missing out on the refund so am really pleased.

I have just spent the morning writing an email to DS2's School....and feel much better for doing it.

Had a letter last week from them informing us of some changes that directly impact him, which could have been sorted out very quickly and easily if someone in a department had actually decided to speak to him...Instead they spoke to everyone but DS2 and have come up with a totally useless piece of information and communicated it to us in totally the wrong way.

They have made ds2 appear that he is not doing as he should purely because someone has omitted to keep up to date records.....
Now I am the first to admit that neither of my boys are angels but they do understand obligations and if they are aked to do something they will.....but it is not their responsibility to demand proof that the teaching department log information correctly

vent over and if you managed to read to the end ...I salute you!!
frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Hey Hun :) thanx for asking :)
Are we any closer, errrrrrr yes and no :D
This place is still creeping closer to getting finished :j
But nobody tries to sell a house this close to Christmas so the whole selling thing is now on hold till January :)
Means we can smack that blasted debt down some more :j
6 months time we'll hopefully be moved :j

Even if you're only creeping at least you're still moving forward with it :)
