Classes of SD Card?

What effect (if any) will a higher class of SD Card, have on my pocket camcorder?

You may get marginally faster saving and so possibly able to shoot more photos in burst mode - but if the manufacturer states class 4, class 4 will probably be just fine and class 10 do nothing significant.0

So the class of card won't have an effect on "shutter" delay, ie. the delay between pressing the button and the photo being taken?0

class is basically the write and read speed to the memory card, I use class 10 in my full hd Panasonic camcorder, if your shooting in low resolution then a smaller class will be enough.0

Just found the full manual online.
It says Class 4 or higher.
I only have a Class 2 in it atm, so I'll pop out and get a new one, after I've had my tea.
ETA: Just got myself a 32GB, Class 4 card.
In 720p, it says it will record 11:38:11 of video.
In 5MP and Fine Setting, it says it will take 9,999 photos.0
