Buying A Macbook online from the USA

I am thinking about buying a macbook online from an American website such as Walmart. It is cheaper than the exact same model in the UK. What I would like to know is would this purchase have any implications on my statutory rights around its warentee? And also would I be charged import fees? In short would I be saving much at the end of the day? Any help would be appreciated.
Kind regards. TIM. ☺

Charged 20 % VAT on import.
That's on the product cost, shipping and insurance.
Also note that some companies wont ship certain items from the US, Apple I believe is one of those products they wont ship.
As for consumer rights from the US, you would be bound by theirs, if you took the retailer route you would have to return it to the US for resolution, although if executing the warranty Apple would cover it here.
I would recommend you go to John Lewis. Pay the UK price and take advantage of their free warranty.0
