I feel the same mine are 17 and 15, I have bought Big Bang Cluedo as a family game, we all watch it on TV together. Also trying to sort a date to go to Winchester for ice skating and a visit to the Xmas market. There are still xmas movies we all enjoy watching (Home Alone, Elf etc). Glad I did lots of Xmas things when they were little as time goes so quick. The dog is the baby of our family now :)

    Hi everyone

I have 5 children from ages 32 to 15 years old. every year we buy a family board game and this is unwrapped on Christmas eve after our buffet tea and chaos begins. we have learnt along the way that the simpler the better (who needs books of rules) if any of your family has a decent sized screen mobile phone the game Heads up is a great one for the family its a describing/guessing game and it also videos the ones doing the describing which you can watch. there is also a young kids version for the little ones.

    thanks for the idea :T
    I will have a look :)

  • A silly Christmas hat competition/ secret santa gifting for the day. It sounds almost too silly to be fun but it goes down a storm every year in my house, there's some particularly unsettling (but hilarious) ones on eBay!
