Hi i have been made redundant today. I work 14hrs earning under £100 a week, i also claim CA as i care for my disabled son. Does anyone know if my redundancy will affect my carers allowance? I got 6 weeks pay + 75% enhancement, also 6 weeks notice of lieu. I will also be getting any owed holidays and lieu time paid plus my last months wage so it will be around 2k. I rang CA but they didnt know i would just have to submit my payment when i get it with a breakdown for them. Has anyone been in this position or know anything? I cant find anything online?
Thank you in advance

Carers UK: Carer’s Allowance is not means-tested – in other words not based on your income or savings... But you do need to be earning £102 a week (after deductions) or less.
