Nationwide Credit Card agreed in principle but need to show ID?

Am just wondering first how long does it take to get your card after you have showed your ID in your local branch? am already a customer with NW as I have a flex account with them.
Secondly can you still get rejected after showing your ID? if so why?
does agreed in principle mean you will get your card providing ID checks out?
Lastly when you apply on-line do they do credit checks hence agreed in principle?

Yes they could still reject you. If they agreed in principle it can still be hit and miss, sometimes they still turn around and say no.
How long's it been since you took in your ID? I'd expect at least 7-10 days wait.Credit 'Score' - Don't buy the credit 'score' that Experian, Equifax and Noddle want to sell you. It's an arbitrary number that means nothing when it comes to applying for credit.
ALWAYS HAVE A DIRECT DEBIT SET UP FOR THE MINIMUM PAYMENT ON YOUR CREDIT CARDS, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER YOU PLAN TO LOGIN AND PAY EACH MONTH.0
